Privacy Policy
Last updated July 20, 2026.
This policy explains what Centervert LLC ("Centervert," "we," "us," or "our") collects when you use centervert.com and our related services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at connect@centervert.com.
1. Information you give us
We collect the information you enter into our forms, including when you:
- Reserve a seat at a Scale Up event (name, email, phone).
- Request a call or send an inquiry (name, company, email, phone, and any notes you include).
- Start a Block Hours checkout or schedule a session (name, company, email, phone, and any notes).
You do not have to give us this information, but some features (registering for an event, requesting a call, purchasing a service) will not work without it.
2. Payment information
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. When you save a card at checkout, your card details are sent directly to Stripe and handled under Stripe's security standards. We do not receive or store your full card number. We keep a Stripe customer reference and your billing status (for example, active or past due) so we can manage your subscription.
3. Records of agreement
When you accept our service terms, we record proof of that acceptance: the version of the terms, the date and time, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string. We keep this as a record that the agreement was made and by which version of the terms.
4. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you request. We use this for security, troubleshooting, and to keep the site running.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes.
First, essential functionality: a secure, short-lived cookie that carries you from checkout to scheduling, and browser local storage that remembers preferences such as light or dark theme.
Second, product analytics: we use PostHog to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed, how features are used, and, where enabled, recordings of on-site activity, so we can improve it. This analytics data is collected on a first-party basis through our own domain. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your information to advertisers or ad networks.
6. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Respond to your inquiries and requests.
- Register you for events and send you related details.
- Provide, bill for, and support the services you purchase.
- Process payments and keep records of agreements.
- Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the site.
- Comply with our legal and accounting obligations.
7. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate, each handling data under its own terms:
- Stripe, to process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Resend, to send confirmation and notification emails.
- Supabase, which hosts our database.
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
- PostHog, for product analytics (understanding how the site is used).
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Centervert, our customers, or others.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, communicate with you, and meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
9. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing connect@centervert.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. We will respond to reasonable requests consistent with applicable law. You can also ask us to stop sending you event or marketing emails at any time.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encryption of data in transit and restricted access, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
This site is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
